CE-Classes was founded in 1990 by two clinical social workers who wanted to provide a wide range of counseling services to individuals, couples and families.

Over the years, as their expertise grew, both therapists expanded their services first into supervision and later into providing professional education. We, the founders, have over 40 years of mental health experience between us and have provided supervision to professionals in many areas of psychology. We have supervised within the fields of social work, psychology, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy and nursing.

We have also both been educators at multiple levels, undergraduate, graduate and continuing education. We also happen to be married, for over 18 years and have 4 (no it is not a typo) fabulous children.

Several years ago, in an attempt to earn some continuing education credits in a hurry and on-line, we had great difficulty finding the resources we needed. At that time an idea was formed, a web site that could provide up to date professional education on line at the convenience of you, the busy professional. We all have busy and hectic lives and it is quite difficult to find the time to leave work to attend a seminar. Or, worse yet, leave loved ones on a Saturday or Sunday just to maintain your professional license. We value our time with our family and believe that you do as well. This lead us to create a resource to provide up to date, professional education and maintain professional licensure - from the convenience of your computer screen.

In 2007, having had gone through yet another audit, we came upon an idea. As administrators of agencies and departments, we have been through numerous audits including JCAHO, CARF, the Florida Department of Health, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Corrections, CSWE, Middle States Commission on Higher Education, as well all of our current accrediting agencies. We understand the challenges that administrators and supervisors face when attempting to ensure that all of their employees have had the competency based training that accrediting bodies require. Our cancellation and refund policy for courses purchased at our website is that participants have 5 business days from the date of purchase to request a refund for any course not completed.

Our cancellation and refund policy for live presentations is that cancellations must be made at least three weeks in advance and be in writing for a refund. No refunds are available for late cancellations and all refunds are subject to an administration fee.

All complaints and grievances are reviewed within 5 working days. Formal grievances are required to be written, and will be responded to within 10 business days.
