Medical Errors; Ethics; The Laws and Rules for licensure
About the Trainers Toni DiDona, Ph.D., L.C.S.W.earned both her graduate degrees from FIU where she won the academic excellence award. She brings over 20 years of experience in the field to her teaching at CAU. She has over 6 years of teaching experience and has taught at both the graduate and undergraduate level at 4 major universities in the south Florida area. She has practical experience in training and development, child and adolescent therapy and assessment. She currently serves as an Associate Professor for Carlos Albizu University, where her commitment for excellance was recognized when she was recently awarded the Distinguish Professor of the Year for 2007. Ronald Black, L.C.S.W. earned his graduate degree from FIU where he won the excellence in the field award. He brings 20 years of experience in the field to his trainings. He has over 10 years of administrative experience and has developed supervision and training programs for graduate students and interns from a wide array of disciplines. He has served as an adjunct professor and as a clinical instructor for numerous local universities. He has practical experience in training and development, substance abuse and intensive couples counseling. He currently serves as the Director of the Residential Services for the Drug Abuse Foundation.
Continuing Education Information: The Medical Errors and Ethics courses have been approved by the Florida Board of Psychology, Florida Office of School Psychology, and the Florida Councils of Licensed Midiwfery, Electrolysis and Dietetics and Nutrition. The Laws and rules course meets the criteria for eight hours of continuing education and ce-classes.com is an approved provider to teach this course.
